Air pressure
The tire air pressure is located on the side of your tires and it has to be kept equal to all 4 tires. When inflating, it has to be measured when the tire is cold. Under inflated tire will cause premature wear on the tire. This is why air pressure must be checked regularly. You can now do this by either measuring it by a tire gauge or installing a color coded tire valve stem that you can visually check everyday. Tire Rotation
Because your 4 tires carry different loads, it is recommended to rotate your tires every 6 months or less particularly if you drive mostly in stop and go situations. Fewer intervals are need if you drive front wheel drive cars.
Alignment
Your vehicle needs a yearly tire front alignment and a 4-wheel alignment if you have a front wheel drive vehicle. You can visually check the alignment yourself if you see abnormal wear in your tires. Signs of abnormal wear are the best time for you to bring your vehicle for alignment.
