You need tire
rotation to keep your tires maintain an even
wear but guess what? Most tires manufacturers require it or
you lose your warranty!
Because
your tires carry different loads all the time, it is required
to rotate it at certain interval as recommended by the tire
manufacturers. This interval should be included in the vehicles
owner’s manual. However, any time you see signs of uneven tire
wear, it should be rotated. A common interval for tire rotation
used by the industry is 5,000 to 8000 miles or once every 6
months or whichever comes first.

most common tire rotation patterns:
Front wheel drive vehicles:
Front left tire to rear left tire.
Rear left tire to front right tire (diagonal)
Front right tire to rear right tire
Rear right tire to front left tire (diagonal)
Rear wheel drive vehicles:
Front left tire to rear right tire (diagonal)
Rear right tire to front right tire
